ATLANTA – (January 10, 2012) – The Atlanta CEO Council announced today that I. Sigmund Mosley, Jr. president of Imlay Investments, Inc. will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for 2012 and 2013. The Atlanta CEO Council was formed in 1999 and in the past decade has become the exclusive destination for C-level executives, investors, entrepreneurs and community thought leaders. Since its inception, the mission of the Atlanta CEO Council has been to create an environment exclusively for business executives looking to develop and maintain lasting relationships with their peers.

Mosley takes over leadership from Palaniswamy “Raj” Rajan, founder of the Atlanta CEO Council, Atlanta entrepreneur and CEO of Virima Technologies. “For 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Sig’s reputation as a mentor and “godfather” is unparalleled in our community and we are fortunate that he is dedicated to leading this organization for the next two years. I know the ACEO Council will thrive under his guidance with help from our top-notch Board and support from our outstanding Sponsors,” says Rajan.
The Atlanta CEO Council will focus on several key initiatives for 2012 including reaching out to our most promising young entrepreneurs, creating opportunities for personal development through peer roundtables and facilitating networking.

Mosley is president of Imlay Investments, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University in 1968. From 1968 to 1969 Mosley was employed by Peat Marwick & Mitchell as a staff accountant. He joined Management Science America, Inc. in 1969 as a staff accountant and served as Secretary-Treasurer from 1972 to 1990 and was a Vice President from 1982 to 1991.

Mosley holds a number of directorships in private companies. In addition, he is a director of The Imlay Foundation, Inc., Techbridge, and Entrepreneurs Foundation of the Southeast.
