A survey of nearly 200 members of the Atlanta CEO Council discloses the use of various platforms for news. Of those surveyed, 28% go to traditional media outlets for news, but more than one third prefer the online site. Three fourths of respondents visit between one and five websites daily for news. Although social media continues to be a top priority, surprisingly, only 11% rely on this form of communication as a main source for news. Which publications are the most important to Atlanta’s top C-Level executives? Eighty percent of those surveyed heavily favor The Wall Street Journal and Atlanta Business Chronicle.
