Join the CEO Council and support Junior Achievement at our annual Holiday Party!
There was a great article in the Atlanta Business Chronicle last Friday about Junior Achievement and the exciting new interactive facility they are building at the Georgia World Congress Center. The link is here for those of you who haven’t already seen it: Business Chronicle 11.15.2012
The permanent facility will provide an innovative immersive experience for middle school students that complements the classroom programs for which Junior Achievement is widely known. The potential impact of this project is tremendous – Atlanta, Fulton and Dekalb County Schools are already scheduled to begin using the facility and the JA Board has contemplated the possibility of bringing this to every middle school in Atlanta.
Junior Achievement focuses on providing children with critical skills in the areas of business and entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and workforce readiness. These goals align very closely with the mission of the CEO Council, and we recognize the clear need for bold and creative thinking to energize the next generation of leaders.
In support of JA and this amazing program, the CEO Council is throwing a holiday party for the whole community! Your ticket to this fantastic event will be a tax-deductible contribution made directly to JA here. There will be great food, a silent auction, and the Junior Achievement team will unveil the latest plans for the space. Michael Kohlsdorf and Shelly Justice are opening their beautiful Sandy Springs home to us, and on behalf of the CEO Council Board of Directors we would love to invite you to join us at 6:30 on December 3rd!
Many thanks,
Linnea Geiss
